PropTech Now is a new conference for the real estate sector. Artificial intelligence, blockchain and the future of innovative solutions used in buildings stir the imagination but also raise questions about the extent of interference in everyday life. Maximilian Mendel, a REAS partner, will be one of the panellists.
Taking advantage of advanced technologies in the real estate sector does not only serve the purpose of constructing attractive buildings for their owners or tenants but also increasing cost effectiveness and improving facility management. The first conference in Poland devoted to knowledge and technology for the broadly defined real estate sector will be organised on 5th of June by PropTech Now Polska at The Heart Warsaw conference venue in one of the most modern office buildings in Warsaw – the Warsaw Spire located at the European Square.
PropTech is one of the most rapidly developing trends in the commercial and residential real estate sectors. The Internet of Things, which has so far been popular in the office and warehouse sector, is starting to gain attention also in the residential segment. The X, Y and Z generations, whose growing expectations have been felt primarily by the owners and managers of office space, demand technological solutions that facilitate the use of the buildings and help with everyday duties also in the private space. This change is especially important for businesses, whose portfolios include residential rental properties or private dormitories. It is important to note that innovative solutions implemented in properties need to be accessible also for older users, whose share in the ageing society is increasing. In the face of these challenges, the possibility for market participants to meet and talk about the changes that digitisation brings is exceptionally important.
The ‘Market Overview: Technology in Real Estate: World and Poland’ panel opening the conference will be hosted by Maximilian Mendel, a REAS partner. Participants in the discussion will attempt to compare the use of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence in Poland and around the world. Maximilian Mendel will be joined in the discussion by, among all, Bartosz Dobrowolski from PropTech Poland, Artur Kazmierczak from the Mzuri Group and Anna Walkowska from ProperGate.
