Maximilian Mendel joined REAS team in 2006 where he is responsible for market analysis and investment advisory. His knowledge of residential markets has been utilized for clients, such as: Babcock&Brown, Griffin Advisors, Frankonia, Orco, Restaura, Fadesa-Prokom, Dom Development, RREEF, UBM and Amstar Europe. Further he is co-author of long-term growth perspective of heating demand for Vattenfall Heat Polska SA. He also prepares the „Residential Markets in Central European Capitals” report. He graduated from the Interdisciplinary Faculty of Spatial Planning at the University of Dortmund, writing his thesis about Warsaw’s housing market. Currently he is a PhD student at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Before joining REAS, he gained experiences on Poland’s residential sector during an internship at the Institute of Spatial Management and Housing and while working at the Real Estate Rating Department at Bank BPH S.A. Maximilian Mendel published real estate and planning related issues in English, Polish and German.
